Barbara Sewerin, D.O.

La Dra. Sewerin está certificada por la Junta Estadounidense de Medicina Interna, la Junta Estadounidense de Pediatría y la Junta Estadounidense de Medicina de la Obesidad, y tenemos la suerte de que se desempeñe como nuestra Directora Médica. Ha recibido una amplia capacitación en las mejores escuelas, como la Universidad Internacional de Florida, la Universidad Nova Southern y la Universidad Estatal de Pensilvania. Barbara Sewerin, D. O. ha recibido múltiples premios de Penn State como residente destacada en medicina interna y pediatría y varios premios de la sociedad de honor. También es autora y colaboradora de varias publicaciones médicas.

Aparte de sus ya impresionantes credenciales, la Dra. Sewerin también tiene un gran interés e investiga la homeopatía y la medicina integrativa. En su tiempo libre, disfruta de la cocina vegana, los bailes de salón, andar en bicicleta y divertirse. ¡Es una ávida decoradora y ama a los animales!

Ailin Betancourt

Ailin was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She joins our team after having worked in the medical field for over 10 years with experience in different clinical settings. Ailin obtained her Associate’s Degree in Administration as well as Billing and Coding from Keiser University and is currently working towards her AAPC certification.

She is very passionate about helping our patients and is deeply committed to delivering exceptional care to everyone who walks through our doors or rings in. In her free time, she loves spending time with her son, and her fur babies and enjoys dining out, dancing, listening to music, and traveling.

Denide «Dee» Joseph

Ms. Joseph was born in Haiti and raised in Miami. She began working in the chiropractic and physical therapy industry in 2004 in the Haitian community. Dee holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration from Keiser University. She truly enjoys interacting with and building relationships with our patients. Whether in the office, on the phone, or in the therapy room while assisting Dr. Mckee, her priority is ensuring that all our patients have a wonderful experience.

Outside of the office, Dee loves dancing, reading, and spending time with her husband and two children.

Jordan Perona, D.C.

Jordan Perona, DC is a board-certified Doctor of Chiropractic who holds a degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Health Sciences, with a concentration in pre-chiropractic, from the University of Wisconsin Parkside.

​Dr. Perona offers over a decade of experience in chiropractic medicine, having worked both domestically and abroad. He is well versed in treating a wide array of injuries ranging from acute accidents and falls to sports traumas and has helped many professional athletes, as well as Olympians and other elite-level athletes, recover.
​He is science-oriented and uses the most up-to-date techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of his patients.

Dr. Perona is a husband and father of two boys. In his personal life, Dr. Perona enjoys spending time with his family, building and working on computers, and motorcycles, watching ice hockey and tending to his homestead with a garden, bees, and chickens.

Robert Pew, P.T.A.

Robert Pew is a licensed and board-certified physical therapy assistant who received his education and honed his skills at South University in West Palm Beach, Florida. He is also a US Army veteran, who served stateside and overseas in South Korea. After serving his country Robert became increasingly interested in the fitness community and pursued a career in personal training. Ultimately, he wanted to make more of a difference in not only injury prevention, but also in the body’s healing process daily and, pre and post-surgery. He has experience treating various diagnoses in his career, along with improving functionality in patients’ everyday lives. Robert believes in practices that ensure the patient’s safety and maximum success in their recovery.
Outside of work Robert enjoys time with family, traveling, sports, and going to the gym.

Liliana Velez

Lili es nuestra directora de oficina y el pegamento que mantiene todo unido. Después de mudarse a Nueva Jersey desde Columbia, completó un programa de masajes y terapia corporal en ORI Health and Healing Center en Union City, Nueva Jersey. Liliana también completó un programa de certificación en Administración de Oficinas del American Institute en Clifton, New Jersey. Después de eso, durante diez años, trabajó con varios médicos en el campo de la fisioterapia y perfeccionó sus habilidades y conocimientos de todo lo relacionado con este campo.
Su superpoder es su amor por ayudar a las personas, que brilla en cada interacción que tiene con nuestros pacientes. En su tiempo libre, le encanta bailar, ver fútbol, las playas de Florida y, sobre todo, disfruta pasar tiempo de calidad con su familia. Ella es una hija, una esposa, una madre y nuestra joya.
